A reconstruction of a late Magdalenian or Azilian child based on the shells and other ornaments found in a child's burial at La Madeleine rock shelter. This young child was buried with over a thousand shells and a few mammal teeth and bones. Some of these artifacts have been proven to have been sewn to the clothing while others might have been used as necklace or bracelet beads.
